An art competition for all ages – #TheRing21

Competition open: 21 May – 30 September 2018

This summer, as part of The Ring, we invited you to take part in 21 Miles #TheRing21 – an exciting art competition based upon the 21-mile circular route of canals and waterways in Worcestershire.

Entrants submitted work inspired by a visit to these glorious waterways. We were delighted with the response that the competition received and are exhibiting a selection of the entries on the digital screens at The Hive in Worcester.

Come along and be inspired by the poems, photography, creative writing, drawing, painting and mixed media.

The winning entries can be seen in the images below and on the 21 Miles blog: click here to view.

21 Miles was run by artist, poet and blog curator, Emily Wilkinson, who put the entries onto our 21 Miles blog so that you can view the artworks that were entered into the competition. Emily was also out and about making her own responses and writing on the blog.
